Roxanne has dark brown that is medium long length, falling to her mid back. It is straight for the most part, but the kind of straight that has a bit of wave in it without being wavy. It is only slightly styled with some layers and side-swept bangs. She has a heart-shaped face with high, "apple" cheekbones that show when she smiles. Her sparkling brown eyes are on the larger side of the scale and her nose is small but long. Her lips are slender, but still have fullness to them, which make her whole face look well-proportioned.
Roxanne is average height, standing five-feet-and-five-and-a-half-inches. tall That extra half inch is very important, she says. Her weight is also average being a hundred-and-fourteen pounds. She has a slender build, but still looks healthy and well-proportioned. Her Caucasian skin is normally somewhat tanned, especially since she started working at the camp. She has slender, feminine, "piano" hands and a petite sort of frame. Not exactly supermodel-material, but not plain.
Take Me As I Am
Roxanne is loyal to her family in one aspect: she loves them, truly cares for them and wishes them only the best. But she doesn't seem to get along with them one bit. She despises her father for the way he treats her and her mother for letting him be so over-controling. She wants them to see her as trustworthy, but would never say so except when arguing with them. Thus, she is very cautious about trusting others. She might not tell a secret to someone she has known for years if she doesn't think they are trustworthy and honest. But if she pledges her loyalty, she will be good to her promise. She is especially good at keeping secrets and not gossiping.
Though Roxanne is compassionate, caring for others, she finds it hard to go out of her way to do so. She will help when she can but tries not to "burden" herself with the responsibility of taking care of others all the time. She is prideful - a trait she no doubt got from her father - and has a terrible time admitting when she is wrong and accepting help. Along with that comes that she can also be arrogant, thinking she is always right. But under all of that is her rebelliousness. She has gone for so long defying her father's rules that she sometimes finds it hard to obey orders from anyone. She is very independent.
Roxanne is a romantic at heart, but she would never let anyone know. She wants to appear strong. She doesn't limit herself and thinks she can do whatever she puts her mind to with diligence. She is witty and intelligent, attentive to things that are going on. She also has good intuition, being able to notice when there is more to something or when she is being lied to.

Roxanne was born in mid-June. Her father was friends of King Lune and was Lord Protector of Stormness Head, a fortress in the mountains of Archenland. Lord Drake was very overprotective and cautious and because of this he made Roxanne say on the fortress grounds for her first 7 years until constant watch of her nurse or mother. Though he had the best intentions in mind, Roxanne often felt caged in, even at such a young age. The first time she ever visited Anvard was in her 8th year for some special event that she wasn't able to really take part in.
Throughout her childhood, Roxanne was taught by wise, intelligent tutors during her time indoors...which was most of the time. She learn a lot of head knowledge but being keep on such a tight leash made her rebellious towards her father and eager to disobey him whenever she could think of a good reason and alternative. But she did learn from him the importance of being cautious, even if he sometimes was a bit too much.
When Roxanne turned 10 she was allowed a lot more freedom around Stormness Head and even a few more trips to Narnia and the rest of Archenland. The Captain of the Guard taught her how to defend herself with daggers, though he was sure specify every lesson that it was for defense and only if she could get away. But she was never one to run away from fears or problems. In her 15 year, she spent the summer at Anvard with her mother and father, who was their on business. Ever since, she has spent the summers at Anvard (and sometimes Narnia) with them, though her father is always nervous about her being there.

Chloe sat in the courtyard of the school. It was a little past four'o'clock in the afternoon last time she had check the time. Classes were out and the dinner bell was schedule to ring in about two hours. Until then, Chloe had to entertain herself. She wore nothing spectacular. Just a pair of dark-wash jeans, a pale pink camisole and a cream-colored cardigan. Her hair was half-pulled up with several strands loose around her face, including her bangs. The pale pink ballet-style shoes she had worn lay on the ground while her feet were curled up underneath her. She sat on the ledge of the large fountain Indian-style, conscious of the water behind her and careful not to fall backwards into it. But her mind was focused on the camera in her hands.
She had just finished taking several shots of the small garden patch in front of her, trying to adjust the camera's settings for the lightning available right then. It was slightly overcast...perfect for taking pictures. She rolled through the shots she had taken, not her best but they weren't meant to be. Adjustment shots. On the top-right corner of the viewing screen a low battery signal began to blink. She rolled her eyes, remembering that she was suppose to charge the thing last night. She looked through the camera bag that sat to the right of her. Bingo! Her back-up battery. She quickly installed it.
Unfolding her legs, Chloe slipped her feet into her shoes. Her eyes remained focused on the camera. she stood and walked a couple steps forward before turning around and holding the camera up to the face, looking through the viewer. A blur ran past her and she pulled her vision away from the camera to see some speedy Gonzales race by her. She scrunched up her nose, tempted to yell out at him. But she wasn't that outgoing. She put the camera up again. The light of the sun was glistening off the water in the fountain like untouchable diamonds that shined and dazzled as stars do in the sky. She snapped a shot. Then seven more from different tilts and angles.
She was satisfied. She scrolled through the photos she had just taken with a pleased smile on her face. Then she turned to start walking to her next location. She should have been watching where she was going. WHAM! She was on the ground, pain shot through her knees all the way up to her elbows. She winced at the pain but it seemed to reside when she noticed that her camera had somehow landed safely in the grass. She sighed some relief at that and stood. Picking up her camera she turned to see what she had fallen over. "What?" she wondered aloud in shock to see nothing behind her that should have hindered her walking.
